Recipe Corner: Teriyaki Sauce

This month’s recipe is shared by Eric Ballinger. My Family's Recipe: This is my grandmother Kazuko Morioka’s teriyaki sauce recipe. It is a staple at our house with marinating meats!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup soy sauce

  • 1/3 cup brown sugar/ adjust to taste

  • 1/4 cup mirin

  • 1-2 cloves minced garlic

  • 1 tsp fresh grated ginger root

We tend to marinate chicken overnight and tuna for 6-8 hours.
