JASCO has been celebrating Japanese heritage and culture in Central Oregon since 2007. We are eternally grateful to Mr. Shin Nishikawa, who helped bring our community together.
Our original mission statement was: We believe in the power of "totemo oishii Nihon no ryori" - really delicious Japanese food!
Our Mission Today
To be a resource, strengthening our community by educating present and future generations about the evolving Japanese American experience in Central Oregon. We do this through cultural exploration and opportunities for connection through delicious food. To guide us in this work we draw from the values found in our Japanese American traditions.
